PRESCRIPTION DRUG ABUSE PREVENTION PROGRAM

Aligning with the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy’s plan to combat the ever-increasing prescription drug abuse issue, the Colorado Prescription Drug Abuse Forum will include an examination and discussion of the four elements comprising the national strategy: education, monitoring, disposal and enforcement. The day also includes Strategy Workgroups where participants will use information shared during the Forum, with their expertise and community needs to shape a plan of action to impact prescription drug abuse in Colorado.
